Uhh it'd be a huge loss if he didn't sign with Michigan. Anyway you want to try and spin it, the bottom line is this.

Johnson is far and away the best player in-state in a year that might be the best ever for senior football players. Michigan doesn't produce very much D-1 talent on a yearly basis. The state also only produces about 10 "UM calibre" players on a yearly basis. This year there was about 25 of them. The state produces even fewer STUD prospects. Maybe 1-to-5 per year and some years not even one.

Johnson is the best player in the state since Charles Rogers and plays a big position of need. Michigan has been on this kid since he was a sophomore and were in the drivers seat for a long long time.

If he's not part of their class it's a pretty big loss.

Wow, this is almost unreal if the new news is true.

Michigan fans, assuming you guys are out of it, where do you think he is headed? I don't follow football recruiting all that closely but its gotta be Florida. All of this drama started as soon as he got back from his trip to UF.
