With USC's stacked roster, I'm not sure he'll be an impact player in 2008. I guess it really depends on where they line him up. Either way, we only have to play him twice and Urban Cryer didn't snipe him. I'll take it.

I'd say...

1) UF
2) OSU
3) MSU

Things could change, but I am personally expecting him to announce for the Florida Gators on this Sunday at his church.

Alot of those prospects they never even offered.

3 of the Top 10:
Mark Dell- No offer.
Cedric Everson- No offer.
Keith Nichol- No offer.

Another 4 of the Top 10:
Joe Barksdale- You guys know the entire story on this kid. Michigan DID drop him by the way.

Chris Colosanti- don't think he was ever really interested in Michigan. ND and PSU intrigued him the most and he committed to PSU pretty early.

Dionte Allen- this one was almost as baffling as the RoJo saga.

Darris Sawtelle- Tennessee legacy. His father is in the UT Hall of Fame, he's one of the greatest players to ever play there. Has more extended family in that state than he does in Michigan. UM was fighting an uphill battle with this kid. Also goes to Brother Rice, which is a pro-MSU school. They haven't been kind to Michigan at all over the years.

Well, RoJo to USC and Dionte Allen are the ones that really sting. Both are very baffling recruitments. Especially considering early on they were all about UM. Both of them committed to Michigan at one point and reassured the Michigan staff they were coming more than once.

All in all, we got Ryan Van Bergen and Martell Webb in-state. Webb is one of the most underrated players in Michigan's class. The kid is a very good athlete who tore it up at Michigan's camp.

The only in-state kids that we lost out on that really bothers me are Allen and Johnson. They were the Top 2 players in-state and they were just all-about Michigan early-on, and Michigan had a substantial lead for both of them. Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

Congrats on a good pickup USC and good luck RoJo. I am sure he made the choice that he thought was best for him.

Personally ecstatic to see the scUMers come up on the losing end so many times. Say what you want about how they never really had a chance with this guy or never really wanted that guy. Still brings a little sunshine to my heart to see all the talent in TSUN cut ties and run.

I'm glad that he didn't choose you guys or Uf. If not us then Sc. I read that Johnson did want Michigan and actually cried about it twice.

Go Blue!

I can vouch for what MGoBlue says...Ronald did not have as much input in his own decision as most kids do...that is to say most parents let their kid decide to go wherever he wants. Mrs. Johnson was much more hand-on than most. Think Aaron Brown/Derek Morris.
