From what I hear, we have great to phenomenal shots at landing several of those players (Williams, Dailey, Gamble, Torrence, and Hinds)...

Seriously, the kid looks like he's going to be sweet, i hope that his coaches smash it in his head that he needs to work on those grades, because that would be shame to lose him to Michigan State (ha) like Ringer.

McKinley’s Williams wins Federal League MVP
Monday, November 7, 2005 <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>By Chris Beaven Repository sports writer
The dominance of the McKinley High School football team this season did not go unnoticed in the Federal League.
The Bulldogs were rewarded with 10 players on the 26-player All-Federal League first team. Fourteen Bulldogs in all made the first or second team, which were voted on by the league’s eight coaches.
Junior tailback Morgan Williams leads the list of McKinley honorees. The coaches selected him the Player of the Year.
The other top individual honor — Coach of the Year — was split between McKinley’s Brian Cross and Hoover’s Don Hertler Jr.
Cross guided McKinley to a 10-0 season. The Bulldogs are in the second round of the playoffs as they seek a return to the Division I state finals. Hertler’s leadership helped Hoover go 7-3 and make the playoffs, as the Vikings rebounded from a 1-9 season.
Williams became McKinley’s second-straight Federal League Player of the Year. The person he replaced at tailback, Ryan Brinson, won the award a year ago.
Williams won it this year after he rushed for an area-best 1,935 yards during the regular season. He joined Brinson as McKinley’s second 2,000-yard rusher in Saturday’s playoff win over Brunswick. Williams also has 29 touchdowns.
“He was our go-to guy,” Cross said. “When we needed yardage, we gave the ball to him. He just got better and better at reading zone (blocking) schemes and made tremendous cuts. He ran as hard as any back I’ve seen this year.”
McKinley’s other first-team selections are receiver Joe Morgan, tackle Zach Slagle, guard Tyrell McDonald, kicker Zack Campbell, defensive tackle Jeremy Holloway, linebackers Jeff Vaughn and Mike Kirksey and safeties Harriel Moore and Mark Jackson.
Their work helped McKinley outscore its opposition by an average of 40.7 to 8.7. The Bulldogs won all 10 of their games by at least 21 points. Morgan caught a school-record 11 TD passes, adding a 12th against Brunswick. He had 30 catches for 822 yards during the season.
