I think your guess is probably pretty accurate. I also have eagerly hoped that he and Saine would be the two RBs we offer in '07.

Morgan believes Illinois and Notre Dame are very close to offering.

That would be interesting, as grades were thought to be a possible problem.

ND is listed as having offered Chris Rainey, Marc Tyler and Cedric Everson...all of whom project as potential RBs. The Tyler and Rainey offers are probably mere tokens so maybe ND is seriously looking at Williams as a RB in this class. They are also actively recruiting John Clay, Darren Evans, Robert Hughes, Dale Martin, Brandon Saine and Bradley Stephens among others, so that should tell you about what kind of prospect they think Morgan is if he gets an offer.

In my opinion, Morgan is the best "pure" RB in Ohio for 07

Just curious, but what doesn't Saine have Williams does? On the film that I saw of Saine, I saw a guy with amazing speed, good power and excellent vision. I cant remember if it was you or someone else who suggested moving him to DB, but that would be a waste of talent, IMO. He needs the ball in his hands.
Obviously the OSU staff thinks pretty highly of him...
