Barksdale, along with Martin seem like the two most important prospects on the board for OSU and it looks like both will be battles. With our need for defensive lineman, Barksdale is #1 on my board.

rumor going around that he will no longer be going on the Ginn bus tour. Not that big of a deal IMO but it would be nice if he was on there.

I agree it is not a big deal, isn't the Ginn bus tour really a vehicle (no, not a pun) intended to help bring otherwise less well known athletes in front of the eyes of colleges large and small?

Seems Barksdale is giving up his seat to a kid who needs more exposure than he already has received. Good on him.

i read the story on bucknuts. There's a telling quote in that update. It's the one where he thought he knew where he was heading and now he's wide open.

If you have followed his recruitment on this site, you'll know that before Barksdale loved OSU thinking if he got an offer from them, he'd take it in a instance, now that he's a big time recruit he's open. It's time for JT to reel him in and remind him of his earlier love.

This is the critical time of Barksdale's recruitment. Him traveling to Austin worries me.

I think Robert Rose is big to where he can get bigger and mover inside... and be a monster as well. Also Todd Denlinger is starting to come on (hence the safety on Mo Wells during the Spring Game). We also have Abdallah to take up space and Larimore may come around, as we have yet to see him on the field and what he bring to the table. Hopefully Jeremiah can get his grades up so we can bring him aboard. Garnier is a nothe rbig body and a decent 3rd teamer, maybe he can work his way up. All in all, we are pretty young but there guys out the we can bring in if Barksdale doesn't pan out.

With that said.... this is one of the reason Tress & Co. make the big bucks... go get Joe!!

Abdallah may never be ready
Rose will be used all over the line to take advantage of mismatches

We need kids who can come in and compete for playing time right away at this position.

I definitly agree we need kids that can push for starting jobs but you don't think Abdallah will be ready? Not to mention i see Larimore as being very similiar to Delinger and that as being taking a red-shirt year and being ready to contribute to the two deep.
