not to derail this, but kurelic has been on a downward slide in this capacity since 2004 when conley left. kurelic has whiffed more in the last 2 recruiting seasons than any other osu "insider" i've seen on bn, rivals, or here. as a result, he will not go out on a limb about anything. you could ask him if his arm was just amputated, and he'd tell you it's 50/50.

Joseph Barksdale is ready for the US Army came and said he will announce his college at that game. Maybe that's already been said but I was watching a video of him today and thought I would relay the info. I think we have a good chance of landing him.

I learned long ago not to give Barksdale a second thought.

If he happens to come to Columbus, I'll root for him like I would any young Buckeye. If not, I'll root for him as well........just not as much.

This would and wouldn't surprise me if true. I would just be shocked that he would pass up early PT for a potential national championship team, a chance to play with close friend Vernon Gholston, staying a lot closer to home, and I really though The Game may have sealed the deal (which was was the word yet again). But this one has constantly been up and down so I think it could end either up or down. I'll have to say that I will be disappointed if we don't end up with JB...it will mean we landed one true DT (Larimore) in the last 2 classes when it was our biggest position of need. Davis is a possibility though I suppose.
