I can tell all you this much..
Antonio's verbal commitment is very solid. I don't think he'll change his mind. After talking to Lisa, his mom, yesterday, she told me how incredible the visit went. She said that it felt like the MSU staff were family, they felt a strong bond with everyone there. So I'm pretty sure the commitment is final. Antonio is very happy and super excited about MSU.

I'm very happy for him.. he's my best friend and I got his back on whatever decision he makes.. and by the way.. I am an OSU fan, but it's not about that.. it's about where he feels he fits in.. and that is MSU..
I get to go w/ him and his family to Michigan soon!!!!
I'm excited lol!.. anyway..

Oh... I know no one here is putting him down or anything.. I just thought I'd comment on that.. I didn't want to sound mad or nothing like that to offend anyone..
It's just the truth though.. alot of crap is beeing talked about his decision.. and I'm glad all you respect it...

I have a question.. I read someone's post about Tressel still going after Antonio after his verbal commitment.. anyone want to comment on that?

I think at this point in time I think there is nothing wrong with that.

In all the updates Antonio sounded like he would've loved to be a Buckeye, unfortunately OSU was waiting on that test score to offer. If he reaches that test score I still think OSU will offer him and continue to pursue him. Hes one of the top talents in the state at a position of a HUGE need.

You are right, before the visit to MSU Antonio wanted OSU.. after visiting, things went the other way. You never know what might happen, but his decision is solid like I said before.
Look at it this way,
if OSU were to pick him up.. he'd be in the bench for a season or two. MSU is going to probably start Antonio.. So put your self in his shoes and think.. do I want to start or sit in the bench for a while until upperclass men get their playing time..

We are losing our top 3 tackles, and don't have anyone coming in as of yet, so I'm not sure who you think he would sit the bench behind.

I HONESTLY WANTED HIM TO GO W/ OSU.. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN WE GOT THE PHONE CALL FROM HIS DAD!.. BECAUSE LIKE I TOLD YOU... HE WAS LEANING ON OSU BEFORE THE VISIT.. AND I WOULD OF NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD COME BACK TO HILLIARD W/ A COMMITMENT W/ MSU..
BUT REGARDLESS.. I GOT HIS BACK.. AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.. YOU NEVER KNOW..

I wish him nothing but the best. I just hope playing time wasn't the deciding factor. He could have got plenty of that in his home state.

No offense, but this is not true at all.

MSU now has 4 DT's committed, and return 5 defensive tackles.

OSU has none committed, and graduates their top 3.

If its not out of line, I would like to take an excerpt of an article written about OSU commit Nate Oliver.

I'm not going to lie, Michigan did tempt me during the recruitment process when they said I would be an instant starter,?€? Oliver said. But my father put that into perspective by telling me. ?Michigan is going to have 23 instant starters in that class. They?re probably telling everybody theyre going to be an instant starter.

Am I saying the staff is lying? No im not, im also a big Dantonio fan.

But colleges throw around the word instant starter all the time.
