two things outside of andrew that stuck out.
1-that film had a couple of mega holds and a couple of two point take downs.
2-his wr looked real good to me. nice hands for hs kids and willing to take a hit over the middle.

I believe two of his targets this year were fomer tOSU LB recruit Colin McCarthy and Florida signee Riley Cooper. I've heard some reviews that say they were the main reason why Nowels was good, but they are guys known for their bitterness, so I took that with a grain of salt. I as well have heard rumors that Andrew has an offer from tOSU...

Not a shock at all. We've been saying for a while now that Nowels is most likely tOSU's number one target at QB, and that the interest is mutual (camp in 2005 and 2006). I think that posters like wadc45 and osugrad21 have proven over time that they know the lay of the recruiting land better than most of the "paid" reporters at other sites.
Moreover, the tOSU staff is a huge proponent of discovering kids at their camp, and making offers which might seem to be rather curious at the time (Malcolm Jenkins and Antonio Henton, for example). I think that Nowels is in that category.
Personally, I would be shocked if any of the Ohio QB's received an offer, and I also believe that very few Ohioans will be offered regardless of position.

I agree 100%. Unless someone blows up in camp, I cannot see any of the Ohio boys getting an offer.
