Cassita Impressed By First Look At Clemson

RB Houston Cassita (5-10 208) of Draper, UT doesn't get to the East Coast often, but when his team played, at won, at Valdosta, GA, he took advantage of the trip to make unofficial visits to a pair of ACC schools. First, Cassita and his father drove to Clemson for the Florida Atlantic game. "It was a good experence for me," Cassita said. "I haven't been around anything like that before. It's a good environment and a good football tradition. It gave me chills when they ran down The Hill. I met with coach Hogan and that meeting went well. I saw the lockerroom and the West End Zone area." Cassita hasn't been offered by Clemson and an offer wasn't discussed on this visit. He did not get the chance to meet with head coach Tommy Bowden or running backs coach Burton Burns. After spending time at Clemson, Cassita and his father drove to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech-Notre Dame game. Cassita has an offer from BYU and is also getting interest from Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington State.
