I was talking to a coach at Trotwood the other day, and he said that CJ is big time. He told me to watch out for something to happen soon with tOSU...

The coach I talked to told me he thinks CJ will be a LB in college, but CJ may want to try S first. As grad said, get him in and then see what he can do... |

just me but, after reading about what an athlete he is and by the time he plays college ball he will add to size to go with 4.46 speed . I would love him as a safety. With his size that would be like having a LB or hopefully, a bigger Whitner back there.

If we get him in at LB, he could be a heck of a Leo/Cie Grant-ish type of LB for us. I'm equally as excited if he's patrolling our D-backfield as a safety though too. There's no doubt though- I like him on the D side of the ball in college.

past ga tech player oliver?? was a safety at 235 and played a long time inthe n.f.l
either way he sounds like to much of an athlete to past on for Tressel D |

Grades?
Is there any updates on if tOSU will offer based on his grades or do they look good enough for him to be accepted as they are? (Earlier reported 2.52 and 16 ACT) Does anyone think an offer to him would affect an offer to Dailey (look like they could play the same S/ LB role)? I know it is early and the coaches will take who the believe are the best but the numbers will have to be looked at. Just in Ohio you have Oliver, Clifford, Arnold, Dailey, Givens and Peake.

I know we go by speed, big speed, and power but I would think Peake getting an offer would tell us one of two things: Clifford is possibly being recruited as a WR primarily or they are offering Peake first over Dailey and Hines, because I'm pretty sure we won't offer all 3 if Peake is coming as a LB, which is where I personally like him with his size.
