I don't know about you but I never expected anything less than a stellar class. I could care less about where the class is ranked by recruiting services. JT knows how to identify the types of kids we want wearing the S&G and how to fill the holes left by graduating seniors. This class should be more of the same...probably not the highest rated class in the country but a class that I feel safe in saying that on Signing Day I wouldn't trade with any other class in the country.

You're right about the rating services--those guys are "educated guessers". But like you, I'm never disappointed on signing day.

True, but ... this class would look a lot more stellar with Martin, O'Dowd, Claytor, Barksdale, and Haden, all of whom could easily end up at Ohio State, or just as easily could end up elsewere. It's really tough to find "Plan B" guys to replace kids like those.

I mostly agree with you, but if they don't verbal, it just wasn't meant to be.
we "almost" got Shawn Crable, Prescott Burgess and Fred Davis, but I prefer the ones we got.
At any rate, I think the 2007 class will end up being tops--it's a hell of a start, anyway!
