Don't get too worked up on a score yet. Could be old, could be other circumstances, etc. Let's see what happens when he retakes. Seems every other school is still pursuing.

He looks incredibly "solid" in his rivals pics, if thats even possible for a 380 pound giant; Not fat or sloppy at all.
I haven't seen any video yet, but If he can move around a little, he'd be un-stoppable at DT. What a monster!

Strictly from my experience coaching at the HS I do-linemen-both offensive and defensive are the extremes on the team-smartest and dumbest/least motivated.

It could be that the staff just wants to make in-roads with him. They may currently know that he can't get into school right now, and will have to attend prep school for a year. After that, he's back on the open market and the staff already has a connection in place with him when the process starts all over again next year.
Also, like CleveBucks said, who knows when that score is from. |
