That is one big boy. I would hate to face him in high school football. Can you imagine being a 6'2 250 lbs lineman that is usually considered a big boy at the high school level and then facing this haus!!!!!

I don't think he'd fit in with our style of DTs...he may not have the rush-speed. He'd make a helluva NG, though.

Quinn Pitcock, Brian Anderson, and others were never used as rushing defensive tackles. They were used as space eaters to keep the linemen off of the linebackers. I think he could work out pretty well. Tressel seems to use the players to the best of their abilities, instead of fitting square pegs in round holes.

I imagine you mean Tim Anderson. While Anderson did excel at keeping OL from getting downfield, he also was able to provide a serious pass rush along with sliding off blocks when defending the run, as is Pitcock. Tressel wants quicker, athletic lineman who are able to do both. Unless Bryant is quicker than his 40 time suggests, I don't see him as anything other than a larger version of Gabe Watson...I don't recall Watson getting a whole lot of pass rush against us, but he did well against our run (most of the time). The key is how quick and agile Bryant is.
