I think if he gets an offer it is going to be with the thought of him playing on the inside at DT.
Coule be a year when they would like to take 3 since we lose 3.
I am interested to see some film of his.

My take. He is a lot in the mold as Charlie Hatcher, where they are both going to need to gain weight and move inside. I think Hughes has very good explosiveness off the ball, you can tell at times he just uses pure stength over some of the smaller guys he is either rushing against or blocking. At times he is too high. I am not sure of the competition but they don't look like they are on John's level.

He plays in DI in Central Ohio, so that should tell you a little about the competition. There are some that think he could be one of the top TEs in the state this year, along with Hubbard and/or Eric Thomas. Obviously it isn't a great year for TEs in Ohio as most of the top guys project at other positions, but Hughes could be someone to watch down the road.
