AND WHAT IS WITH THE LOVEFEST FOR ARRELLIOUS BENN? I have yet to see why he's going to light up the world as a receiver. He doesn't have the speed to be a deep threat, and doesn't have the height to be a dwayne jarrett possesion guy. He'll be good, but I'm not sure if he should be top 10... Although, that's only my opinion.
Thompson can be a bit inconsistent. He has great measurables and great potential but needs more polish imo. Benn is a good player but I like him better at LB to be honest. I don't see him as a game-changer at WR. I agree with your assessment though. I also think this is the worst top 100 list I have ever seen, though I've only followed recruiting for about 3 or 4 years. I expect ESPN's list to be better lol.

if you look at the scout main board, the list is getting torn apart pretty badly.

Most schools are recruiting him for Safety.

In doing the BPRT wish list blog today I noticed that they have Braksdale listed as the #22 OL in the country...that is all Newburg right there.

scouts rankings are absolutely terrible. no allen or barksdale and ben martin so low. why did he fall in both the rivals and scout top 100? i think he is a top 10 player for sure.

Pool is a big part of it too... He's said that Barksdale was an OL from the minute he saw him in San Antonio. I guess he and Newburg don't see what every major program in the country sees with Barksdale at DT... Doesn't do much for their credibility IMO...

On BN, Pool basically said that many programs are lying to barksdale about him playing DT just to get him on campus. The scout guys are grasping at anything to justify their top 100, which is getting shredded on all the boards.
