Keep an eye on Coatesville (PA) defensive end Derrick Morgan. He plans on visiting NC State in the near future and is a major target for the Wolfpack.

10/6 Derrick is deciding between NC State and Boston College for his final official visit. He has a visit set up with Penn St. for 10/14. |

He is playing it very close to the vest...I think the visits will determine a lot. I still like our chances but can also see PSU starting to gain some momentum with Derrick.

Like you said, Martin and Thomas are DE's and you take both (provided Solomon's grades are in order). I think you take both Still (they like his versatility) and Morgan if they want to come in...and Barksdale would just be the icing on the cake if he decides to head to Columbus. If we get Still, Morgan and JB then Jeremiah likely gets left out. If we only get two of those, then Jeremiah may still be in line for an offer. That is my take on things from everything I have been told and/or read on my own.

SUMMARY: I see the DL class ending with Martin, Thomas, Brent, Still and Jeremiah. That is just my gut feeling. I know some are going to throw a fit because I left Morgan and Barksdale off, but if we get either of them it will just make a stellar DL class all the better. If Morgan wants in, I think Jeremiah probably doesn't get an offer, although that really depends on his grades more than anything. |
