What a joke. The top 3 is Jimmy Clausen, Chris Gallipo, and Marc Tyler. Good players but any bias here? Hmm... RoJo is apparently the 72nd player in the country and Barksdale isn't even a top 150 player in the country. Better tell OSU, UM, UT, Miami, USC, ND, and any other powehouse to quit recruiting him. This list is even worse than Scout's but ESPin does set the standard for failure.

ESPN's data is from Scout.
Did you miss the "access the complete Scouts Inc. evaluation for each player listed below. Data provided by Scouts, Inc." ?

As we all know recruiting is a big business these days. It's all about selling scripts. I agree that this is the worst list I have seen this year and I recall them ranking Beanie in the 40's last year. It's nice to see your players ranked high on a list but I have joined the good guys in just trusting the staff. JT and the boys have proven the ability to evaluate talent and character and produce results. I enjoy learning more about the players coming in but it's not worth getting upset about player rankings. All I can say is thank god for BP because this site is honestly all you need. The mods here do an amazing job keeping info legit and the pay sites aren't much more than a profit / hype center that make me sick.

I don't pay attention to Scout anymore, and I've never payed attention to ESPN's recruiting site. Neither Scout nor ESPN can compete with Rivals IMHO.
