Fire everyone. Tressel can't recruit.

I find your lack of faith.... disturbing. You should just go burn all your OSU gear, you're no TRUE fan. Besides, you can't be ranked high with a small class... and we're banking schollies.... don't you know ANYTHING? Sheesh!

ESPN is definitely selling the "sky is falling" concept... saying that we have no solution at QB or WR. Also saying that we failed to pick up a QB -- when it was actually the staff that decided to NOT take a QB this year (and smartly so). They really amaze me sometimes... only ESPN could have a 10-minute special on how the Buckeyes are on the decline.

that just shows you how stupid you can be to work at ESUCKY'
they said,
Losing a top recruit in ohio ,OSU didn't recruit a QB , OSU needs to find some unknowns to step up next year. and having only one wr returning.

Gotta love how they continue to pimp Georgia and 'Bama as national powers too... they're effectively has-beens right now.

gottfried sounds like another Holtz.
Saying alabama has great players in state but, I think he forgot auburn is in the same state.
Talking up Saban like he's a magic man. I would take Lousianna over alabama in a second for the number of top players in each state.

Peterson said 12 of the commits camped here, including Blankenship who came three years,
Tressel mentioned Herron and Saine and Scott and Washington at punt returns.
Compares Saine to Byars, floats the possibility of 2RB sets a la McAllister/Bush.
Evege and Scott come in March...everyone else in June.

I will say this:
It is not good that we play USC back-to-back years.
Say what you want about recruiting rankings and how overrated these star ratings are. But facts are facts. There is a reason that Ohio State is better, year in and year out, than schools such as Minnesota, Northwestern, and Indiana. It's because we get, top to bottom, better players.
There does appear to be a talent disparity between USC and just about everyone else in the rest of the country. Does that mean that USC will necessarily win both, or even one of the games? Absolutely not. But I'd feel a lot better if I thought the "talent" level was even - especially since I know Tressel is better at coaching talent than Pete Carroll is.

Tress talks about Heyward's work ethic, sounds like a candidate to play as a true frosh (Patterson is the only DT to do that under Tressel). He might take his official for the Wisconsin basketball game (his stepdad played for Wisconsin).
Lawrence Wilson ran a 4.52 40 last week.
Thomas compared to a faster Jay Richardson.
They want 15-18 recruits a year, looking at 14 to start for 2008.
Can't comment on Bauserman by rule.
Mentions Small and Coleman need to be ready to take on big roles.
Brandon Underwood gets a mention as a possibility (with Amos & Washington) to start opposite Jenkins.
