'07 MO K/P Jonah Schmidt (Missouri signee - baseball)
I would normally not start a thread on a kicker this late in the game, but it appears as though there might be some real interest here as Jonas has received an official offer to play baseball at OSU and is considering an official visit. I still don't know if there is anything more to this story (and I am certainly not condoning an offer when we are trying to abnk as many as possible for next year), but this still might be a situation to watch...

Maybe he will get a tryout, but I don't envision him getting a schollie for football until after the 08 class...
If we do sign a kicker I hope we sign Ben Buchanan or Steve Schott next year or greyshirt one of the two...

Agreed...I really like Buchanan...
I just figured we could start a thread and if he ends up here we could move it to the baseball forum temporarily until we more know about his football aspirations.

Not to be nitpicky, and they may be wrong as they have in the past, but Rivals lists his name as Jonah, rather than Jonas.
