I thought I saw somewhere it was 6 for 18 yards. I don't remember where I saw that.
And I agree about Beanie. Flat-out sitting him might not be the best plan. Get him some reps, but don't over-do it. Start with 10-15 carries, and see how he is. Maybe 5-10 in the second half, depending on how the game is going.

Yeah Zurp... I agree maybe you can't rest beanie straight up cuz he's in groove with things too well right now. I'd give him 10 carries like you said in the first half and if we're up good at the end of one half then let MoW/Saine take over the shower. After all both those two need more reps to A) give beanie a blow and B)Both need to get more in sync with the offensive game plan.

I knew we couldn't keep Rolle on the bench long. This kid just jumps off the screen at you even surrounded by the rest of OSU's talent.

He still would be 3rd if Homan was healthy. What does that tell you about our depth at LB?
Anyway, for those talking about Beanie. I say leave him out the entire game. I think we are talented enough to beat Michigan State even with Beanie "getting back in the groove." Hell, I dont know if I'd leave Beanie in against MSU longer than a few series if we get the game in hand to rest him up for the PSU game.
That's me though and I'm not a coach.....

I'd sit Beanie. It's not about a "groove" thing or "depriving" him of carries, but rather making sure our clear-cut #1 running back is healthy for the home stretch.
