STATE COLLEGE, Pa. ? Each remaining game for Ohio State is critical for its Big Ten and national title hopes, but fans probably will have to hop to their nearest sports pub to see the team face Illinois on Nov. 10.
Steve Snapp, OSU's associate athletic director for broadcast services, said he's "99.9 percent sure" the clash with the Illini will be shown on the Big Ten Network, which isn't available to basic-cable subscribers in the Miami Valley.

Illinois gave Ohio State its biggest scare of the 2006 regular season, but the Buckeyes pulled out a 17-10 win on the road. Next Saturday, Illinois comes to Columbus for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Ohio Stadium.
The Illini have been relying on Rashard Mendenhall, who entered the weekend as the Big Ten's second-leading rusher, averaging 123 yards per game. But they'll have to get more from their passing game to move the ball against Ohio State. Last in the conference in passing before Saturday night's visit to Minnesota, with just seven passing touchdowns in nine games, Illinois quarterback Juice Williams came out and threw two first-quarter touchdowns against the Gophers.
Do that, and the Illini - with a decent defense led by one of the conference's leading tacklers in linebacker J Leman - have a shot. If it's just Mendenhall, they're in...

Ohio State is going to come out fired up for this game.
Think the Ohio State coaches are reminding the team that Zook recruited almost every starter on last years Florida Gator team?
