Changing gears.
I like the obscure.
Unfortunately, Mount Union lost the D3 national championship today. Don't worry, they'll be back there.
The significance?
In 2003 Mount Union and Ohio State were both in the national championship game. Mount Union lost and Ohio State won.
Last year Mount Union and Ohio State were both in the national championship game. Mount Union won and Ohio State lost.
This year they're both in the games again and today Mount Union lost.

Those stats are from 1975 to 2006, they don't include 2007. And from 1975 to 2006, Illinois was 81st out of 112 (0.44126), by the way

Again, those stats don't include 2007. If I didn't make a simple math error, these are the stats since 2001 (since Tressel's arrival) until today (I didn't include Boise State):
USC (75-12) 86% ... BB73 edit - actually, USC has 14 losses since 2001, but I guess that's a "simple math error"
Texas (75-14) 84%
OSU (73-15) 83%
OK (69-16) 81%
LSU (73-18) 80%
Georgia (71-19) 79%
I'm surprised Texas did so well. I would have figured Oklahoma would have beat them.
