Well, I have said it before, there are five reasons we lost that game.
1) The Injury
2) The Heisman
3) The "Underdog curse"
4) The fact that we were way too over confident, and we bought into the hype.
5) Florida was the better team.

Sorry, but no.
I could give you chapter and verse here on all of the differential stats that I keep and how they account for the quality of competition and how they have successfully predicted most bowl game outcomes for as far as they go back (2000)...
But just look at the Cap One and Outback Bowls last year. If Ohio State showed up (which is laugh-out-loud ridiculous), then Florida is the only SEC team that came close to showing up in their bowl game last year.
I have lived in 7 different states and I have talked to people from a lot of different places, but the only people that I talk to that really think it's possible that Ohio State played their best last January are the creme de la creme of delusional SEC fans. Yes, Florida was very, very good last year. But Ohio State was too when they actually showed up.

Is OSU facing Tebow again? Or is Harvey & Moss lining up outside? I'd say those particular players were a lot better than their opponents, but I've seen them be dominant against many teams.
I think Pittman was better than Florida, and showed that.  Probably would not have overcome the rest of the matchups, but would have limited the endless short fields for Florida.

Wonderful. I think they are very good. I don't think they played anywhere near that potential all year, but that's not uncommon in the second season known as bowls.
It was quite the reversal of roles.

The way I honestly look at that game is like this:
UF was a better team that day. IMO, only that day. I think if we played 10 times, the buckeyes win 7 of 10.. but I also wear the s & g glasses
