Smartypants-There is a perceived difference in quality between SEC #3 and Big12 #3. Especially since Georgia beat some quality opponents and Kansas did not.

Georgia--no way, man. They're the 3rd best SEC team. The Cheese makes poop hard bowl for them.

Actually, UGA will go to a BCS bowl regardless of whether they are chosen for the NC game. Kansas is headed to the Holiday Bowl (my bad, I thought the Big12 #3 went to Chick-Fil-A).

Not really. Kansas will still probably be top 10 within the BCS when the new poll comes out. With Hawaii losing (although the game isn't over yet), they'll almost definitely be in a BCS bowl with only one loss. They could also slide into the Cotton Bowl if the Cotton Bowl people think Kansas will travel better than Mizzou fans (a distinct possibility). Remember it's all about who the bowls select, NOT what the standings are assuming they are bowl eligible.

Check out the LinkBack to "TigerDroppings.com". They're talking [censored] about last year's title game like it was LSU that played in it. This is why I hate SEC fans. They don't root for their team or their school, the root for the South. If you like the Buckeyes or anything else that's not in the South, you may as well be telling them there's too much sugar in sweet tea, or that bangin' your sister isn't a good thing.
41-14? How 'bout 36-33?! (Google it, bitches!) That's right, LSU lost to a team coached by John Cooper!
I want the Buckeyes to play these guys. I don't care if it's in New Orleans. Move it to Baton Rouge if you want. Let them have SEC refs. Put it on CBS. Make the Buckeyes eat Chick-Fil-A and Moon Pies for a [censored]ing month. I don't care. Let's beat these clowns and put this [censored] to rest for a little while - and I don't want any excuses from them when it's over!

The talking heads are now talking up the fact that LSU didn't lose in regulation time as if that really makes a difference. IT is very clear that just about every one of them wants LSU in the game. Mark May actually said Okla should be in it.

No arguments on the perceived quality difference, just saying that if you use the #3 in the conference argument for Kansas it doesn't really make sense to say the #3 team in the SEC will play for the national champhionship. At this point, who the hell knows...I'd say other than being several teams and fanbases in an uproar over not making it to the title game there are no guarantees at this point.
