Roe is developing his game from the Inside/out, which in my opinion is the proper way to do it for a big kid. I think Yancey Gates could profit from this approach.
Roe will not be a SF in college, he is a PF all the way. He'll rebound, play defense, block shots, score around the rim and hit 10-15 footers. He's got a very subtle game and is an extremely smart and unselfish player. Just lets things come to him. Not sure where he fits with Matta's offense, but Roe will be a very good college PF somewhere. |

No offense, but if sehs95 (St. Edward's HS, 1995) says that Roe will be a PF, I trust his opinion. This talk of developing his outside game or being a big wing is off the mark if somebody who follows the program closely says that he'll be a 4 in college.

5/2/06 Roe has started to gain the attention of some major programs. He has been impressive this spring and he is starting to get noticed nationally. His early list is Uconn, Florida, Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois and Indiana. Illinois and Michigan seem to be pursuing him the hardest at this point. |
