PERRY TWP. One of a coach's greatest fears is an injury to a star player, but the greatest fear is the unknown.
That is where the Perry High School boys basketball team is right now. The Panthers don't know whether 7-foot Kenny Frease will be able to play Friday night after an injury to his right wrist in a 55-28 win over Boardman last Friday.

Frease did not play last night, but it looks like his wrist is not broken at this point.....no word on when he will return to the court.

Frease has a sprained wrist and will miss the next 2-3 weeks. Xavier, Notre Dame and Michigan are recruiting him the hardest. Indiana, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Michigan, Xavier, Michigan State and West Virginia have offered. Ohio State has stopped recruiting Frease.

PERRY TWP. The tests are all in, but there are few answers available for Perry High School?s Kenny Frease.
The 7-foot junior has been sidelined since Dec. 15 because of an injury to his right wrist. Frease has since undergone a CAT scan, MRI and x-rays, but results remain inconclusive, Panthers head coach Rob Toth said.

NORTH CANTON Kenny Frease was breathing a big sigh of relief Friday.
The Perry High School 7-foot junior learned he will miss another three weeks with his right wrist injury after fearing earlier in the week that his season might be over.
