Moore may be what the doctor ordered as help at the point next year, although I think Crater, Hill and the talented wings will do fine if tOSU doesn't go after more help. It's good to see that Moore is getting more attention now, if he is deserving of a major D1 scholly offer, he should get it now, it's always fun following the careers of guys from C-bus even when not playing for the Bucks. |

Sullinger, Moore Help Northland Roll In City Championship.......more on their league championship. |

Did not get a chance to catch the City League Championship game, but I did rewatch the Northland vs Brookhaven game from early in the year and was pretty impressed with Moore's play. I'm not sure how good this years Brookhaven team is, but they are usually filled with quick athletic players and Moore more than held his own.
He showed an ability to split double teams and to beat his man and get into the lane. He showed good floor vision when penetrating, often finding open teamates. He seemed to play good defense both on and off the ball at times (like most HS'ers lapsed at times) He also made a couple of threes (missed some too) and showed decent touch. I have no idea if he is tOSU material (I have no idea what the staff's criteria are) but he looks like a very good player who played under control for the most part and was in control of his team, one thing that was a little concerning is that he is very thin, but this did not stop him from being aggressive with the ball and on defense. |

I am far from good at projecting talent at the HS level, though I do remember going to watch Jerry Francis at Wherle(sp) ugliest uniform color combination ever. Also caught Eli Brewster at Wherle and Ed Jenkins at Eastmoor (?) (boy did Jenkins have a nice post game at the HS level) Also watched Jimmy Jackson and others at the State tourney. I do think Moore can have a solid career at the D1 level (maybe not major) as he has had good coaching and seems to have good athletic skills and good fundamentals. |

I caught some of the game on tv and felt bad for Moore and the Northland guys. At times late in the game (and at other times throughout) Moore tried to take the team on his shoulders and be the scorer, that he hasn't had to be most of the year. He had a couple of real nice pull up jumpers that just would not go down, or this game may have ended on a happier note for Northland. Good luck to him and his teamates, they definitely went down swinging.

Does he have any offers to any schools? I saw him play a couple times and he is a pretty good ball player but I don't see him being OSU talent. But I do want to see him end up at a good school. I like seeing City leauge kids get scholarships.
