I was really hoping he would become a Buck, as I think he is just as good as Crater, just taller and more athletic. He has D1 power conference talent.

I completely disagree. Crater is much quicker and has a much better handle than Moore, and will excel in Matta's system. Moore on the other hand, excels in half court sets compared to Crater. Overall, Crater is a much better PG compared to Moore (who I feel is more of a combo guard). Moore will be a good fit at James Madison and has a shot at starting with their new coach coming in this year.

With all due respect to Moore's basketball ability if he is so much better than Crater how many offers did he receive from D1 programs and are you really better evaluators of talent than John Grose who coaches the guards for Matta.

Boys basketball: James Madison nabs three

New James Madison University men's basketball coach Matt Brady didn't waste any time setting up a pipeline to Columbus.
Since his April arrival from Marist College, Brady has gotten commitments from three area players: Devon Moore of Northland, Eric Beard of Reynoldsburg and Trevon Flores of Helen Cox High School in Harvey, La. Flores spent his first three seasons at Eastmoor Academy.
Moore is considered the Division I program's biggest catch. The 6-foot-4 point guard led Northland to a 46-2 record. He also had some interest from Big Ten and Mid-American Conference programs.
