In his first season playing varsity basketball, junior Chris Henderson is opening many eyes with his play inside on both ends off the court. He is currently averaging 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks per contest. He has early offers from Akron, Western Carolina, and Youngstown State, but that list will only continue to grow, maybe in the upcoming weeks. With a showdown with Canton Glen Oak coming up this Thursday, a strong showing against Buckeye verbal Kosta Koufos will only add more fuel to the fire.

According to that first photo, Chris has to weigh more than the listed 205lbs. Looks as if WGH will have a nice team here in the coming years with Henderson in the paint. I am sure he has another few inches in him to get to 6'10" 6'11" range and be a solid force underneath the basket.

Henderson had 16 points & 11 rebounds in a 55-51 loss to Canton Glen Oak. He was 8-13 from the field, which included a dunk over Ohio State commit Kosta Koufos in the second quarter.

Henderson led Warren Harding with 18 points in their 88-38 victory over Youngstown Cardinal Mooney. On the season, Henderson averages 10.3 points per contest.

The Raiders host Toledo Scott on Saturday.

Henderson scored 18 points in a 82-72 victory over Bedford.

Many schools have interest in Henderson, and some have offered. It takes a heck of a player to get offered by Ohio State. Wherever Henderson eventually goes, he is going to make a school very happy. He has proven that he can raise his game against the toughest of competition. Last season, he had a solid performance against Kosta Koufos, which included two slam dunks on the seven footer. On Jaunary 12, Warren Harding will play Zanesville at Value City Arena, so Henderson will have an opportunity to display his skills on the Buckeyes home court. As I have said before, Ohio State can't offer anybody, but whatever the case may be, Henderson must continue to remain consistant. If he does, he'll be playing at the collegiate level.

BTW, Henderson scored 10 points in Harding's 87-76 victory over Shaker Heights.

No doubt he will probably have the oportunity to play college basketball...my point is just that it probably won't be for the Buckeyes...

I think by the number of posts by Worm02 on Warren Harding basketball players that they ought should be offered by the Buckeyes. Maybe I will create a thread for all of the guys that are currently playing for my high school and all the other members of the Planet should do the same.

Please show me where I said that Ohio State "should" offer anybody from WGH? You can't, because I haven't posted anything remotely close to that. With that being said, am I really supposed to wait for a moderator to start a thread about somebody that I see a lot more than them? Oh I know... maybe somebody with a few hundred more posts than me? If you don't like the info that I post, then don't read it. Apparently, the people that run this site, scoutingohio.com, rivals.com, and scout.com think otherwise because I have done large amounts of work for all of them, and I'm not just talking about posting.

Do you know who Dan "Boom" Herron is? Guess who broke the news of his offers & eventual commitment to Ohio State? Scout & Rivals got up to the minute updates from myself throughout the entire process via email, phone calls, and text messages. By the way, I got criticized by many Buckeye fans for supporting Boom, saying that he had the "potential" to get a Buckeye offer, while others said that "he wasn't good/fast enough to play for Ohio State." Well, guess what happened before Boom left Ohio State's camp? Exactly.

I don't "brag" about that kind of stuff, but I'm always trying to find different ways to support the kids from my alma mater. If you were wise, you'd listen up instead of hating, because news out of my city will come to me before it comes to the internet. When I post, people take notice. When I talk, people listen because they know what I say is legit. Once again, if what I post doesn't concern you, that's fine, but I'm going to continue to what I do.

Henderson scored 12 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in a 71-62 victory over Canton GlenOak.

Henderson scored 15 points in a 83-45 victory over Massillon Washington.

WGH's next game is January 12 against Zanesville@ Ohio State?s Value City Arena. Tip off is set for 1:15 PM. Both teams are currently 9-0, but Zanesville has 2 more games to play before meeting WGH next Saturday.
