Hopefully, this type of effort will lead to that offer:
Canton Rep
SMARTY PANTS South junior standout DeVoe Torrence earned four As and two Bs in the first nine weeks, taking classes such as Chemistry and Algebra II. "I mean, he's not taking basket weaving," Daniska said.

Scouting Ohio
Video
My Take: Wow is about all I can say. This kid is so smooth and has great ability. A lot of his clips are of him running the ball, but that is not where he is going to end up in college. His defensive clips show him filling the hole knocking people out or working down the line and running the rb down. You can see that his frame can easily hold weight, and you would think not lose his speed. He has future MLB written all over him.
Also after watching this, I put him only behind Martin, Clifford, and Saine in terms of players in Ohio.

The thing is, i think he can get a good bit faster too once he works with a speed trainer.
He could easily be a knock out safety if he wanted to, or a big 10 runningback.
I see him at Will of course....
