We have listed Dewey as holding an "official offer" because he has stated in published reports that he has one. However, I personally am sceptical, and I imagine that several others who follow recruiting closely share my view. In the end, I would be quite surprised if Dewey were to sign with the Buckeyes. |

I've heard from a very reliable source that his claim of an OSU is just that...a claim. I'm annotating the database to reflect no offer.

I'm going to throw a ? in the thread title until this get sorted out...many time a coach will say "If you get your grades sorted out there will be an offer for you." Maybe something like is what is going on here...

7/11 Dewey will be visiting tOSU at the end of the month. He has offers from Cincinnati, Iowa, and Indiana. He says if an offer from tOSU were to come, he accept it on the spot. |

Rivals $ (BSB)
7/24 Dewey will be visiting tOSU this week with his coach and his mentor (who happens to be the mayor of Fairfield). His top two are tOSU and Cincinnati (offer). My take: Sounds to me like they are coming up to campaign on Dewey's behalf... We'll see how it turns out... |
