it is time to let hale go..if he is dead set on the package deal then good luck to him...he is missing out on a hell of an opportunity to win a ton of games to go to a lower tier school (not talking about UM) with his cousin

Fortunately we are not the ones making these judgments.

Even more fortunately those who are making these calls are not doing so based on third hand information from sportswriter-wannabes.

Everything I get from reading Hale is that he doesn't know what he is going to do and is probably in a bit of an awkward situation relative to his bud.

Agreed...Allen Wallace's article had Hale quoted as saying OSU is the slight leader and he talks a great deal about us, then proceeds to saying a seemingly obligatory sentence about his other favorites. There would be no real reason for Wallace to try and promote OSU...this is an attempt to save face, especially when the header tries to discredit Allen's article. Nontheless it will be a long way to go in Shayne's recruitment so there is no reason to get up tight about it...just sit back and see what happens.

Wow....I am seriously impressed with the kids that OSU is recruiting this year. Every interview I have seen is great and the guys seem humble and sincere. Now, we might not get Hale in the end, but whoever does seems like they will be extremely lucky.

Its a shame he has a "spokesman"
