As to his Rivals comments on the video, I don't think too much should be made of his "I would definitely love to play at Ohio Ss . . . I mean in college" statement. Nonetheless, it was an interesting slip.

I think the contact is increasing because Liuget isn't likely and I don't think our chances would be that great with McCray. If we miss out on Wells, I think the staff would like Hale. Gholston is likely leaving and we really aren't crazy deep at DE with him gone...Heyward, Rose, Thomas, Barrow, and Wilson and if Heyward keeps progressing, he could leave early. Adding Hale to Williams and possibly Mobley would be nice.

Shayne will be at tOSU this weekend... lists WVU, UVA, Pitt and tOSU as leaders. All are even. He is being recruited as an outside LB.

Just watched the video and he definetly almost said Ohio State...hard to think that it doesn't mean something but then again it would seem as if UVA and WVU are at least even. However I think that if we really do want Hale, he is ours. It would also certainly help us with the recruitment of Dorian Bell next year.

If they say OLB, I assume they mean LEO, which is where Thad Gibson is at... but I thought that positions was being held for Sabino. I guess maybe Sabino at MLB and Sweat at WLB?

I really like Hale....but, I played it about 5-6 times and I'm leaning towards him saying High School not Ohio State.

yeah, i don't really believe in freudian slips most of the time.

and, fwiw, he says "high school" earlier in the video and it sounds exactly the same as it does when he corrects himself

There is no problem with depth, but I think Williams is more of the LEO in this class...Sabino is a Mike, and Hale could play the Sam, Mike or could also move to DE...
