According to Cameron Saddler, the pair will visit Pitt's Jr. Day this weekend instead of Michigan's. Also, Saddler says the two plan to go to the same school.


At 5'7" 150 lbs, Cameron's opportunities will not be the same as Shayne's...unless Hale goes to Pitt, the "same school" plans will likely change.

The thing is if schools have a ship for a return specialist only they could push for Saddler heavy...I have heard that Michigan might push this angle especially if they think that they can pull in Hale...

But I agree that package deals never workout...

I'll be the first one to tell you that...you can have all the great stats and film you want, but as soon as colleges see 5'7 on their list, usually you better be a kicker if you want a shot a bigtime offer, unless your a Noel Devine type.

Don't sell Saddler short (no pun intended). He is one of the better return men you'll ever see and is considered a top 15, if not top 10 prospect in PA.

No one is selling him short...I just would be shocked to see OSU or UM offer a kid who tested at 5-7 147 and ran a 4.71...top 15 in PA or not. As little as I believe in package deals, college coaches believe in them even less.

He's actually 5'8" and 160 now, but I agree that Michigan or us will offer him. I think Saddler will go to Pitt and we will get Hale. Kids always talk about going someplace together but it almost never happens.

With 16 ships available next year, this is a non-starter. There will be no package deal, at least not to OSU. There is a lot of time left, much can change.

Hale is trying to draw attention to his teammate to get offers from colleges. What is wrong with that?

From the Pitt site...some of Hale's recent offers include Mississippi, Arizona and Boston College. He has not narrowed his list.
