04/22 From WeAreSC.com.......Talks about his interest in USC. Would rather play defensive end than offensive tackle and USC is recruiting him to play defensive end. Distance will be a factor but his father works in L.A. so he can deal.

Do we even have an offer out to a DE(that we have a realistic shot at)?
Maybe if Jenkins is now part of the offensive line class, Long switches over to the defensive side(or visa versa). Just throwing this out there...

Would not surprise me if this was part of a recruiting ploy to land him.
SC sees us offer him as a O-lineman, so they say, "We think you have a great future as a DE!" Other schools have used a similar tactic.

I forgot about Koger. He's the only one though right?
It'd be nice to have a prospect that could play either tackle position or al four spots on the dline. You don't see many high school juniors with the athleticism or build(or bloodline in this case) for that. Now that I think about it, Long may be one of the more underrated prospects in the country just because of this. He can play six different line positions in college. That's just sick when you think about it.

Maybe the 2 reasons why no offer to Nathan Williams yet? Koger and Long at DE.

4/22 By Allen Wallace...Kyle names FSU as his leader (they are the only school to offer for baseball as well as football). He is also looking at USC, Florida, Ohio State and Virginia.

With Shugarts to verbal tomorrow and Jenkins possibly in the bag(that's the word anyways), I think it seems as if the staff may go a different direction.
