Patience grasshoppers. We will find out where he's going soon enough.

Until then, dream of next year's defense.

Signing day is going to be fun for sure.
I'm not saying your wrong, but the article I read said his brother had not taken a job with WVU yet and was looking around. It also said that the two schools were the same distance from his home. I also noticed that he has a brother that went to OU and another still enrolled at OU.

Just my opinion, which obviously means nothing, but I think Josh is good to go for WVU. To me, it's like someone offering me the same life, the same wife, the same kids, the same job, the same house, but farther from home. WVU is his home school, and if he indeed decides on them and is happy with it, than he made the right decision. Of course, we'd love to have him, and our staff and "recruits" have done a fantanstic job of trying to get Josh on board, but if isn't meant to be then it isn't.

All that aside, I'd just like to wish Josh "Peace" and happiness in whatever decision he makes. And by the way, in case he ever happens to see this, Adams, Brewster, and Shugarts are really "Ugly" guys. Josh, by coming here you'd be by far the best looking OL in this class!!!!

Now prove me wrong and give me a big'ol

Nobody seems to think Josh is coming here and I have to agree. I wish the kid well and being that he is about equal distance to either school I believe the pressure from his local community(High School Coaches) is going to be too much. He is all WV, but you can`t blame a kid for honoring his original commitment. I think we end up with Pryor, Johnson and Wells. Go Bucks

Sorry, I disagree. Do you sincerely think that winning the Big East title is the same as winning a National Championship? Morgantown is not equal to Columbus (by a LONG shot) and the Universities don't come close in what they offer their students.

I also don't think Josh is coming in as the best looking lineman (unless you think he's actually good looking in a non-football way). However, he may end up that way through hard work. I'd have to hand that accolade to Mr. Adams.

Do me a favor and look at that Scout HS All-American team posted a few posts back and tell me that going to WVU is like going to tOSU... can't see it at all.

I do agree that Josh needs to do what is right for Josh (yes, I am Captain Obvious), and despite the points above, it doesn't mean that WVU isn't a better place for Josh.

Josh Jenkins remains quiet on college plans
by Derek Taylor
Daily Mail sportswriter

The last time a collegiate recruit got this much attention in West Virginia, Sport Magazine was following Brett Nelson around, waiting for the decision on where he would play his collegiate basketball.

Similar to before the St. Albans graduate's 1998 announcement that he would play for Billy Donovan at the University of Florida, no one knows what to expect when Parkersburg High offensive lineman Josh Jenkins reveals his collegiate plans on national signing day.

A signing ceremony is scheduled for the Big Red field house for 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Jenkins has narrowed his list of potential suitors to two or three schools, depending on which recruiting source is making the report. West Virginia, Ohio State and Florida State all appear to be in the mix. Web sites such as BuckeyeSports.com have as recently as this week reported that Florida State has been dropped from the list. However, Florida State Web sites as well as The Tallahassee Democrat report otherwise.

An FSU recruiting report in Monday's edition of The Democrat said that Jenkins was one of two out-of-state recruits Coach Bobby Bowden's regime was "chasing to the end."

As that inevitable end approaches, Jenkins has become quieter about his leanings even than in recent months. The guard stopped taking phone calls to his cell phone regarding the matter before the Big Reds won their second straight Class AAA championship on Dec. 1.

"He's playing it closer to the vest than ever before," said Parkersburg assistant Coach Mark McCullough on Monday. "The last couple of weeks have been pretty hard on him. He'll be glad when it's all over."
