I have to wonder with all of the speculation of him playing D @ tOSU made him question where he wanted to go.

I am sure The Zooker "candidly" communicated that he will play WR @ UI...

But if he ends up playing WR I am sure the media will mention something about how he has a chip on his shoulder since we wanted him on defense....

It will be interesting to see if he stays at WR or if he agrees to a switch to safety because of need.
If he ends up at safety we could assume he was fed what he wanted to hear.
Time will tell.

There is Internet speculation (Scott on D) and what the staff is telling him (Scott at WR)...it's just a matter of which he listens to.

I really don't think he ends up at safety at UI, especially if they land the 4 star kid from Maryland Okechuckwu Okoroha. IL has 4 on the roster right now, they want to move Brian Gamble back to S, and have the #1 Juco safety in the country coming in. It could happen, but he was recruited to play WR first.

One of the many things I love about this board is that it doesn't degrade or bash the player after spurning the favorite school, even for a player that after months of being considered a lead-pipe lock to the Bucks. No "we're better off without him" or "we can do better than him with (this guy)" or pointing out the players' various weaknesses. Lots of well wishes, which is what any Ohio HS football player deserves from its fans.
