The 4.78 was done at San Antonio during AA weekend which is primarily a Scout ran function. I think that's why they use that time. IIRC, the 4.46 was done at a Cleveland Nike Elite (or something like that) Camp, and I'm pretty sure Rivals has some sort of affiliation with them. So, yes, the 4.46 is more recent.

I realize that this may be a bit tangential to the discussion of Scott, but I get so tired of people getting hung up on BS 40 times. Bogus 40 times don't mean much to me. Tell me if a a guy has posted legit speed on the track. Scott has. Check out dyestat.com for actual facts for our discussion.

If the question is "Is Cordale Scott fast?", then the answer is "Yes!" At a very large meet this past weekend (Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial in Dayton) with many of the top teams in Ohio and some other schools from area states, Scott did well. He was on two relay teams that scored, and also ran in the 200m dash in 22.64 (although did not make it to finals). Just being top two on Glenville and running in an individual event at a huge meet is ovbivous confirmation this guy is fast. The amazing thing about Scott is that he's exhibiting this speed with his size. It's a great combo that makes for a great receiver. He'll look great in a Buckeye jersey.

Man, I'm glad I'm not in the recruiting business, because when I read that I don't think he's as much "in the bag" as I thought before. He does state tOSU as his leader and perhaps that's as strong as a kid can state something without committing...I don't know.

Seems like Cordale is enjoying the process though, which is good for him.
