Link Preaster propels Proctor Junior scores 23 points, grabs 16 rebounds in win Friday, Dec 15, 2006 By John Pitarresi Observer-Dispatch jpitarresi@utica.gannett.com UTICA ? Deandre Preaster wasn't the only one who made a difference, but he made the biggest difference. Preaster, the Observer-Dispatch's 2006 All-Mohawk Valley Player of the Year, scored 23 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and turned the heat on down the stretch as undefeated Thomas R. When I read the 4.55 forty am I to assume that was most likely to be taken in between sophmore and junior year in Preaster's case. Meaning that he's still got time to get faster?

4.55 is not a verified time. More than likely, it is an estimation from his coach.

I thought I would look into how Preaster was doing in basketball and looks like he is doing pretty well.
Link 12/28 Preaster was named MVP of the holiday tourney in which his team won. There are also a few pictures of him. Link Video of a dunk from Preaster. Can't wait to see some film of him on the football field... |

1/18 DeAndre says that he is getting lots of letters and that Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Florida St., tOSU, and Wisconsin have been in touch recently. He finished with 33 catches for 640 yards and 6 TD's this year. |

For those concerned about his 40 time. In the article Preaster stated he's never been timed in a 40. So all listed 40 times are in fact guesses by him and his coach.
