I'm not buying that whole grades thing at all, just the staff slow playing a kid imo.

Getting one A in summer schools = serious about academics.. I agree with the poster above...

Taking summer school could just as well mean he knew he had to get his grades in order before he got the offer(s) he wanted....

I don't think its just a coincidence that when the staff misses on two players who played positions that wern't a need in this class, a kid who plays another non need position finally gets his offer. No knock on Woods if he is coachable at all he has a bright future he's very athetically gifted.

The McCarthy and Koger committments... and the glowing remarks about Auburn.. in addition to the planned trips to UF and Bama... I think pushed OSU to offer...
I think they feared that he was gonna get a little too comfortable with the SEC schools if they kept holding out.. Just my opinion

His offer happening immediately on the heels of Koger verballing to Michigan sent a flag up with me, too, but I think grade concerns were the main delay...I think D.J. was going to get his offer anyway once he showed the staff he was not going to be an academic concern, and Koger's verbal simply hastened the process.
