I hope we get him. IMHO the class looks like this: Posey, Stoneburner, Thomas, and Scott
I think the info I read and hear is ND is the team to beat regardless of the top five listing.

It is hard to fathom adding guys like Posey, Floyd, Stoneburner, Scott or Thomas to an offense already loaded with the playmakers we have now. I like everything I see in Floyd's game. I hope Pryor is taking notice of the weapons he could have, which I am sure he is, or that Floyd realizes the potential we could have for him. The OLine to give him time running his routes, the other WRs to give him single converage, and the QB that could get him a ring. Posey and Stoneburner have figured it out... now it's Michael Floyd's turn .

It does not appear at this time that he has scheduled his official to OSU.

Mmkay, just wanted to make sure. Not trying to be the BP Debbie Downer or anything like that, but I gotta agree with Quickness on this one; ND is still #1, and OSU is #2. Certainly not bad, considering how ND jumped all over Floyd from Day 1, but there's still work to do if you're a Buckeye recruiter.
If he schedules an official to Columbus? If I were a Buckeye fan, thats when I'd start to get my hopes up in earnest. Actions speak louder than words, and visits can easily change the status quo. I will also say that I think OSU pushed themselves ahead of some of the other schools this summer; ahead of the likes of UM and Minnesota. But that said, Floyd only has one school scheduled for an official, and thats Notre Dame - and it's been that way for a long time.
Alright, gave my 2 cents/different perspective. Feel free to continue you're optimism.

Eh, I still think optimism is plausible, but your post makes total sense. I'd agree that an official visit is something tangible/measurable that we need to see.

I know you are always good on your calls but I am hoping that the power of positive thinking works in our favor. If only 1 visit why the delay?

About 10 recruits attended the scrimmage, including Cretin-Derham Hall wide receiver Michael Floyd and two of the state's top juniors -- Wayzata athlete Fritz Rock and Bloomington Jefferson quarterback Moses Alipate.

About the only surprise was Cretin-Derham Hall star wide receiver Michael Floyd making an unannounced visit wearing a Gophers sweatshirt and hat. Brewster and his staff hope Floyd is wearing the same attire in early February.
