gotcha...this kid's measurables are similar to Mike Williams (though not as tall). 4.6 speed, tall, thick receiver.
I would think Doc Tressel's inroads in the state of Minnesota would be a huge plus for us.

That's how I see it. It's nice to see us as the co-leader but I would be very surprised if he didn't pick ND.

Glad to see the change of prospective! I'd already written the kid off as a domer based on the previous updates. The Devoe Torrence theory makes a lot of sense here. On second thought, I think Glenville has a copywrite on that theory already.
Is it just me, or has recruiting gone haywire since high school playoff season this year?

Michael Floyd: The next big deal
Cretin-Derham Hall junior wide receiver Michael Floyd might be the highest-profile football recruit in the state since a fellow Raider named Mauer.

Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan are at the top of Floyd's college list.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything... Cretin-Durham sends a fair amount of kids to D1 every year... They are one of the most heavily recruited schools in Minnesota...
