I went home to Cleveland this past September and saw this kid play Southview in Lorain, Ohio. He is every bit of the 6'5", 230 lbs that you listed. He has an arm like a cannon too. Unfortunatelty his recievers have a problem hearing footsteps. He hit two recievers in the chest, in the endzone and both passes were dropped or the score would have been higher. In addition he can run. I think he had a 50yd run for a touchdown and a 40 yarder gain. I saw him take about four or five direct hits from defensive linemen and he jumped right up. The down side is that if they don't get someone who can block he will get hurt. Too bad because he is a great basketball player as well.
In addition, from what I heard Cleveland Heights played Mentor HS pretty well until the final quater. With their new Coach Jim Rotsky (formerly from Maples Heights) they should fair better. The Bucks should watch this Kid! |

Played against him in 7 on 7's and he was very impressive. They also had a talented WR but he threw a very good deep ball and did a good job of not locking in on his WR's.

2/22 By BK...Travis is trying to decide between football and basketball. He is hearing from Ohio State, Ohio University, Indiana, North Carolina, Pitt and Syracuse for football and Wisconsin, Akron, Toledo, Ohio University, Florida and Holy Cross for basketball. |

This May 1st is the big combine at Browns stadium. If Kelce does well here the Bucks better make their move fast or he will be gone to another school. There are alot of schools looking a him too. I "Googled" his name and Butch Davis of North Carolina seems interested along with Vanderbilt. Then there is Cincy, Akron and Pitt. Florida looks like thy are interested as well. I know they have a hundred quaterbacks at UF but I think this guy could play reciever as well. Hate to see him leave the state.

I know the kid personally, and have seem him play football and basketball. He is a superb athlete and will be able to play a variety of positions at whatever school is lucky enough to get him.

By Crabtree...talks about Travis' performance at the Elite Skills Camp. Akron has offered for football and basketball. Coaches from Tennessee, North Carolina, Marshall, Ohio State, Northwestern and Pitt have been at his school recently. |

Summer Schedule
N. Carolina's "Senior Day" is coming along in the next few weeks. I wonder if Kelce will be there? Bucks better keep track of this kid or Butch Davis will steal him away.

Not really. Big Ben dominated camps as a QB.

08/25/2007 - Travis had three TDs, over 230yds rushing and over 100yds passing. The amazing part was he only played half of the game. Cleveland Heights had their 2nd teams in most of the 2nd half. This kid is amazing.

tOSU needs to look at Kelce
Travis Kelce needs to be tracked by tOSU to see how he plays this year. He was lights out the first game. Seems to really have it in games. Quick thinker and sees the field plus can run all day. Don't know why he has not been on tOSUs radar.

Because we aOSU is the heavy favorite to land Terrelle Pryor, the consensus #1 QB in the nation...

10/2 From the Pitt site...Travis has been offered by Pitt. They are recruiting him as a "football player" (not position specific). Either they really are going to find a spot for him after they get him there or, for some reason, they do not feel as confident about Stoudt possibly? FWIW, Scout lists him as a TE...and that is where he worked out at several camps this year. Looks like Pitt may see him as a TE as well... |
