1/30 MSU is very interested in Sal. He is hearing from MSU, tOSU, Illinois, ND, and most of the Big-10. |

Sal does not hide his love for tOSU and says he feels that once teams see his arm strength, they will forget about his height. However, tOSU is recruiting him as an athlete with a possible future at RB. |

He actually reminds me a lot of Troy Smith when he's on the move. He's not lightning quick in the open field (I'd say that 4.6 is probably about right), but he has excellent feet and good elusiveness. He's also very strong like Troy, evidenced by his ability to take tacklers on with a stiff arm or even dropping the shoulder on occasion.
Good looking player, but I doubt tOSU has the scholarships for him this year. |

After watching that Video I think he SHOULD get a offer. This kid reminded me of a combonation of Troy Smith/Micheal Robsinon/Vince Young. On the move when he threw he was just like Troy, he Runs like Micheal, and his release on the ball is like Vince's. Wow great athlete and I must say this video and Noel Devines are the only ones that made me say "WOW". He's not overly fast but he has awesome vision, very strong arm, and is a very strong runner.
I don't know about QB, but we need him SOMEWHERE. I'd like to see him just on the OSU roster, you have to like that he LOVES Ohio State. We just need kids who want to be at Ohio State and have talent and this kid has both. I sure hope this kid gets a scholarship. Also of note.. Hopefully he'll throw the ball more this year. He threw for 58 percent when he did have the chance to throw. He only threw 92 times so no wonder he didnt' put up crazy numbers. |
