Thanks for posting that casey... You can probably bold-face Kenny Tate as well... We're a player for him...
Shayne Hale would be a great LB to add... Amazing catch if we could land him... Last edited by OSUBucks22; 01-09-2007 at 10:48 PM. |

I thought it might be better to start it's own thread instead of clogging up Shayne Hale's thread, so I did.

I'm suprised neither Adams or TOrrence aren't on that list.

Rivals.com looks like they will be ignoring Ohio again in 2008, but I think Scout.com is really high on many Ohio juniors.

As they should be... Ohio is loaded next year, and lots of juniors performed well in San Antonio... Rivals is awful with their southern bias...

It never ceases to amaze me the utter lack of respect for northern and midwestern recruit by Rivals. This is why we always see Southern schools with higher ranked recruiting classes and the norther schools having so many 3* gems, because they are 5* talent but just because they are from the north are not given the right rating. So be happy with the staffs evaluations and realize they know talent better than the biased recruiting sites.

2008 Ohio Top 25
Since it seems like there won't be much more action for the 2007 class i figured we could start talking about the stellar 2008 class in Ohio. I was going to do just a top 10 but there seems to be too much talent just to make a top 10.
What's your top 25 recruits in Ohio? |

Though it's early, I'll take a crack at it:
1. Mike Adams OL 2. Devoe Torrence LB 3. Dan McCarthy DB 4. Jake Stoneburner TE/WR 5. Kyle Rudolph TE 6. Nathan Williams DE/MLB 7. Darius Ashley RB 8. Shawntell Rowell DT 9. Cordale Scott WR 10. Brandon Beachum LB 11. Justin Staples LB/DE 12. Brandon Moore TE 13. Jahmir Williams LB 14. Zebrie Sanders OL 15. Fred Craig LB/S 16. Micheal Zordich LB 17. Trey Fairchild ATH 18. Nic DeLillo TE 19. Johnny Adams ATH 20. Nick Schneider LB 21. Mark Stevens OL 22. Domonic Britt QB 23. Douglas Rippy LB 24. DeVier Posey WR 25. Bart Tanski QB - Interesting thing here is that outside of the top 5, all the way down to 25 I think there is a legit shot for a majority of the prospects to earn an offer at camp. Then outside of my top 25 you have guys like DeWawn Whitner, Mike Spooner, and that outstanding kicker Ben Buchanan. Ohio is very deep next year. I have seen film on some guys, camped and went to combines with others, faced some in games or scrimmages, but some I ranked by hear-say. |
