Just a little info on Filer as he gets closer to making his college choice of Ohio State or Notre Dame.

He is visiting Notre Dame this weekend. It looks like he is just making sure that ND is the right choice.

Couldn't track down confirmation so its TIFWIW material, but some of the chatter I've seen on ND message boards related to "Filer sitings" are he was hanging with a couple ND recruits in South Bend on the 20th (plausible, since one of ND's commits is a local kid), and will show up with his Mom on campus the 21st. So its not just you, osubuckeyes2731.

I really hope this doesn't come off as "rubbing it in", since the guys here have been good to me. Just giving the latest I've got on him.

Reportedly Filer is staying the night in South Bend again. A poster said he crossed path's with his Dad, who was chatting things up with a pair of ND coaches (which included the defensive coordinator), and came away from the visit all smiles. There sure are a lot of ND posters saying this deal is sealed; just a matter of time (even tomorrow, perhaps).

IC, it's actually pretty fair to say that No D ending up with Filer will not be a surprise to most people who follow recruiting around here. It certainly doesn't come across to me as "rubbing it in" since the chances of Filer at tOSU were miniscule at best. It will be another addition to quite the class that the Irish has so far. Good for you.
