4/3 From GBW...interview with Kevin where he says Michigan and Ohio State have both offered. He says his decision will come down to those two schools. |

A bit of a surprising offer, but the kid obviously has skills and apparently the staff is high on him. Might be the next big scUM/tOSU recruit battle. I like our chances though based on what he's said thus far.

Is he being recruited as a TE or DE? If it is the former, is he a better prospect than Brandon Moore? If the latter, Nathan Williams?
Its surprising that he has been offered before the other two. |

I graduated from Toledo Whitmer in 2001 and still live in the area and have seen kevin play quite a few times.
I feel he projects better at tight end, he has great leaping ability, good speed and his hands are very strong for a kid his size. I watched him against Central Catholic (Dane's High school) and he really stretched the field vertically well and made several tough catches in double coverage running right up the seam of the defense. I look forward to watching him this year and will report any news I hear. Btw, he is also pretty good at basketball, quite agile. Not OSU good but can definantly play....overall just an athlete and physical freak for his age. |

I heard he could go either way and there's no clear leader at this point.

I think Koger is the kind of recruit you get on campus then find a position for later...if TE is where he is needed, he will play there. If DE is where he is needed or can excel, then he will play there. Those kinds of decision are made after a kid starts working out with the team.
