Again, I didn't say it won't help...just said I don't think it helps as much as some (i.e. those who are ready to pronounce OSU the overwhelming leader) think it does. If we land Koger, it is because of the work Doc and the crew have put in...not because Moore chose Michigan.

I would be stunned and dismayed if Michigan backed out of an offer to Koger based just on Moore's commitment. Don't forget that our (then) likely starting tight end for the next couple years, Carson Butler, was just kicked off the team. We're thin at TE and will likely take two.

I saw that post and wanted to ask a UM fan. I have heard for months on mlive that the number was between 15 and 16. Although I did forget about the 3 players kicked off of their team. There is also a player(Woods)who might not qualify. They also had a transfer to WVU(graduate program)which might free up another one. That would bring the number up in the 20's range.

uf speaks with people from the Um camp, so he's well connected on this subject. UF has regularly shared inside info regarding UM recruiting.

Thanks for the info on him. The UM fans that I have posted with are premium subscribers and usually are well informed. Here is a breakdown

they had 13 shollies available originally:
Now they have 4 more due to transfers and knuckle heads They have somewhere between 4 (min) to 6(max) that will be 5th years with all on track to graduate (which won't affect APR) which means they might not be asked back unless they are a contributer. Rumors of at least two more transfers of kids who are buried in the depth chart and they're quickly approaching upper class men status. MM and AA could go pro if all goes well. The people I talk to expect 23 to 25. Lemming was also on the radio quoting Michigan coaches that they expect to give a full 25 rides this year. |

Thanks for the breakdown and good info. Forgot about MM leaving early. AA might get the boot if he has any more off field problems. It looks like Carlos Brown is staying put and not going to transfer.

lord knows, i think when kids go home in july he's 50/50.

Mundy leaving won't open up a scholarship for this class. He wasn't going to be around in 2008 anyways.

Ladies & gentlemen...Kevin Koger.

the transfer michigan lost was a QB. Michigan counts Mundy as a graduate who wasn't asked back for a 5th, hence his transfer to WV.
