And that's exactly what OSUBucks22, crazybuckfan40, eobuck, etc., are saying...just how much of a joke those rankings are.

In the newest batch of outrage: Rivals 250
Of note include: 101. Mike Adams 107. Mike Shaw 115. Brandon Thompson 125. Mike Yancich 131. Josh Jarboe 136. Kevin Koger 141. Kenny Tate 142. Andrew Sweat (notice Yancich higher?) 145. Zebrie Sanders 159. Willie Mobley 173. Nathan Williams 192. Elliot Mealer 197. Sam McGuffie 200. Cordale Scott 235. Marqueis Gray 247. Taylor Hill Notes- What a joke on Adams at 101...they try to make up for themselves and just look stupid doing so. Before you know it, there will be a top 251 to make room for Adams when everyone who hasn't seen him in person decides he isn't top 250 material . Yancich above Sweat is still a crime imo (though Yancich should fall in the 200-250 range I think and Sweat in the top 100 or right near it). Scott dropped way low, though I can't say I really disagree with Rivals there. McGuffie is way low, Williams moved up, and Mobley dropped a little I believe.Last edited by RB07OSU; 10-10-2007 at 08:07 PM. Reason: Didn't highlight sweat...thanks |

I think Goebel is too low. He's probably a top 70 player.
EDIT- I just noticed Devoe was demoted from 5 star status in favor of McGuffie. Wow... Last edited by OregonBuckeye; 10-15-2007 at 08:19 PM. |

I think at this point in the season it is hard to argue with that

I would. I think a big edge goes to Torrence just for the fact that he's also a standout linebacker. Even if we're comparing their seasons, do we know how good their supporting cast is? Maybe someone who follows both schools can chime in.

Agreed on Smith...he is definetly a 5 star but I would take Kalil or Adams over him at OT. Not overly impressed with Patchan, the upside is there but I don't know if I would put him at a 5 star. As far as OL goes, Brew is the best hands down imo...

Devoe hasn't taken a single snap at LB since he left Canton South.

mcguffie's been hurt for most of the season and has been less than impressive as a result. |
