They have stopped giving Lamaar the love on the rankings. For what reason? He be looking real good from what I been readin.
I also like where Jenkins is. Last edited by EastSide; 10-17-2007 at 09:41 PM. |

I find Patchan's high rating baffling...I like Brewster, Kalil, Adams, Jenkins, Tyron Smith, Shugarts, Love, Good, and Nix better. I know he has a lot of upside but I think he is a lower top 100 player. However, being uncommited probably helps quite a bit.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - New four-stars revealed in position rankings
Defensive/athletes/special teams position rankings: Nate Williams is the #7 WDE. Shayne Hale is the #3 SDE. Robert Quinn is the #7 SDE. Willie Mobley is the #10 SDE. Quinton Coples is the #17 SDE. Garrett Goebel is the #4 DT. Brandon Thompson is the #7 DT. Etienne Sabino is the #1 ILB. Andrew Sweat is the #6 ILB. Charles Whitlock is the #10 CB. Brandon Harris is the #14 CB. Travis Howard is the #39 CB. Lamaar Thomas is the #5 ATH. Devoe Torrence is the #6 ATH. Ben Buchanan is the #3 K. All defensive/athlete/special teams prospects listed are 4-stars except Howard and Buchanan (both 3-stars). Again, combine that with the offensive position rankings: Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Several make moves in position rankings Terrelle Pryor is still the #1 dual-threat QB. Devier Posey is the #3 WR. Michael Floyd is the #11 WR. Josh Jarboe is the #18 WR. Kenny Tate is the #19 WR. Cordale Scott is the #28 WR. Jake Stoneburner is the #5 TE. Nic DiLillo is the #27 TE. Mike Brewster is the #2 OT. J.B. Shugarts is the #10 OT. Mike Adams is the #12 OT. Josh Jenkins is the #4 OG. Pryor, Posey and Brewster are 5-stars. DiLillo is 3-stars. All other offensive prospects listed are 4-stars. As bad as Rivals rankings are this year that would still be a heck of a class by anyone's standards... But it would be great to have a 5 star QB like that. We're in the need of a QB as well. Boeckman only has 1 year left, I don't know if Robbie can lead the team, Henton may be the future of the Buckeyes, but to be safe, picking Pryor would be great for OSU. |

I like these rankings (especially as a Bukeye fan). Torrence's drop is understandable even though he still ran well. Patchan is still way high, Bradham is too, and Brown is too low. They are just going nuts on Florida cool-aid because Futch is a great player but should around 80-100 imo. Marcus Robinson is well rated though and I think he is a ton better than Bradham. Not sure what they are smoking with DJ Monroe. I definetly agree with Burton Scott getting his 5th star as well. Sounds as if Every would have rated Adams in the top 5 OL in the country if he had the choice. If Burton will put his pride aside then Adams will be a 5 star. Thomas isn't far away from a 5th star and a trip to an AA game would likely help his cause a lot. Glad to see Micheal in the top 100.
